Inn the build up to Christmas we had a flurry of new followers and people signing up to our mail list so we thought we'd introduce our chef to you all.
Meet Our Chef: Ian Crowther
Ian Crowther, the heart and soul of 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 and 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 brings over 30 years of culinary expertise to your plate. From his time at the celebrated Inn at Whitewell – featured in The Good Hotel Guide and The Good Pub Guide – to cooking for the Queen herself (yes, really!), Ian’s passion for fresh, high-quality food has always been at the forefront.
He’s proud to source ingredients from local farmers and suppliers, ensuring every dish reflects the best of the region.
Ian’s repertoire spans traditional British favourites, exotic Thai and Indian dishes, and his signature gourmet pies, sausage rolls, and Scotch eggs. Whether you fancy a butter pie, a chicken tikka rogan josh pie, or a pork & black pudding sausage roll, there’s something to delight every palate!

As a cancer survivor, Ian dedicates much of his time to supporting Rosemere Cancer Foundation – a cause close to his heart.
