The Recipe Development – Getting It Just Right
We’ve spent months perfecting the recipe, testing different combinations of ingredients to create a balance of textures and flavours that would appeal to both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Our biggest challenge? Creating a filling that gave the same texture as a traditional pork sausage roll and held together well when cooked.
After plenty of tweaks, taste tests, and reworks, we finally landed on the perfect blend – a filling that holds together beautifully, offers layers of flavour, and works harmoniously with our golden, flaky pastry.
